Let customers speak for us
from 36 reviewsTypically I thrift a majority of my clothing-wear. A downside to that is typically they are not as durable/washer friendly and fade out easily.
With the Made in Turtle Island T-shirt im finding it is not only the softest material I have felt on a t-shirt, But it also helps me feel connected to my indigeneity as a cree-woman.
I had the opportunity to meet with the owner herself and found my views as a youth where seen and thought of in the design and meaning of Peri. I felt so respected, fulfilled, and joyus to see a design on such high-quality material.
as a customer I look forward to purchasing more store-products in the future and telling people how meaningful this design truly is to me.
Ekosi/Thank you
I love my new Made in Turtle Island T-shirt from Pre & Peri, an Indigenous-owned brand. I value what the design and brand stand for - that is important to me. Also, my tshirt is soft and fits well, and it is the right thickness of material for me. I love that every element of the shirt is made in Turtle Island (Canada). Thank you to Pre & Peri for telling me about the brand and creation of the shirt, and for helping me choose the right size.
This t-shirt is beautiful. The colours are vivid, the cotton is soft and comfortable, it was delivered in a really timely fashion. And I had local Indigenous people thanking me for wearing it when they saw me walking in the neighbourhood. Very grateful. I will certainly be buying more items from you!
It’s a great fit for guys who workout.. love the logo! 👊🏽👊🏽
The primary reason for me to buy is the strong meaning found on these quality shirt as - Resilience, Turtle Island made, We are all related. The important point also for me it is from an Indigenous company.
All these materials use to make the T Shirt & other are of great quelaity
My order arrived faster than I expected. The merchandise is top quality; love the soft cotton of the shirts.
I wear my shirt and hat with pride!
My t-shirts arrived quickly and are well-loved and enjoyed. I look forward to future designs.
Who We Are
Pre&Peri was created by Caitlin Wemigwans, an Anishinaabe woman who grew up in Northern Ontario, Canada with few traditional teachings. Caitlin’s motifs are her interpretations and expressions of her ongoing search for connections with her heritage told through an urban Indigenous lens. She aims to celebrate the rediscovery of past traditions that have been lost to many First Nations.
Caitlin's artwork is featured on classic streetwear apparel and accessories which are intended for everyone to wear and enjoy, regardless of their background.
We are based in Tkaronto (Toronto, Ontario) where most of our products are made, even the fabric! While Pre&Peri is primarily an online store, you can find us at various pop-up events in the Greater Toronto Area.

Do Canadian sock suppliers even exist anymore?
The big news is not a new sock style (I had a previous one replicated). No… The news is that these socks were NOT Made in Turtle Island!

The Origin of the Nka Goose Design
The design for the Nka Goose T-Shirt came from a sudden vision I had of the profile of a large goose with its wing scooping forward.
